Kenya’s world renowned coffee region uses its own grading system. AB stands for the screen size, and FAQ stands for “Fair Average Quality”. These beans are often very similar to an AA grade coffee but tend to be more affordable. This particular coffee is sourced from multiple small farms within the region.

This coffee is a blend of multiple sought-after varietals, all grown at a high altitude. The Central Highlands has cool weather, nutrient dense red soils, and an ideal amount of rainfall to produce elegantly bright and balanced coffees.

In this same region, nearby vegetation includes Macadamia nuts and Maize. Planting different types of crops in the same area is an important step in keeping soils healthy.
